lemon sugar cookies with black & white icing

these take a bit of time to prep, but they’re worth the effort!
INGREDIENTS
FOR THE COOKIE:
1 cup (1/2 lb.) unsalted butter, at room temperature
2 cups baker’s sugar
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon milk
